Outstanding place to stay in paradise

We stay there only one night but what a night !

You feel relaxed as soon as the gates of the property opens. The view from the tent was absolutely amazing and we could take a warm bath outside with some sheeps as neighbors. In the evening when it get cold you even have the cutest fire place to warm the place and create a lovely and cozy ambient. Really really loved our stay .

Comfortable eco-pods with everything you need to chill out

We stayed 2 nights in the Banksia eco-pod, one of three similar pods. An amazing, beautifully appointed, adult-only pod with everything you need to chill out.
It confirms that off-grid eco-living doesn’t have to lack any creature comforts.
They have impressive 180-degree views across the Coal River valley and a range of wildlife, birds and farm animals are often seen wandering around. They are only minutes from Richmond township but feel like miles from anywhere!
We booked direct via their website, the process was smooth and the hosts great to deal with.
We were lucky to be able to see the clamping tent, now that we’ve seen that we HAVE to come back!

I write this sitting in front of the glowing fire and listening to the sounds of birds waking up for the day. This level of bliss, seclusion and relaxation so close to Hobart is rare, and so special. Thank you for creating this spectacular little heaven and for sharing it with us … We have the hugest admiration for the level of accessibility here and cannot wait to recommend this place to family members who need it.

We had a fantastic stay at Aquila! Everything was perfect from the service to the finer details of the room! Got til he opportunity to spot some wildlife as well, even saw a brush tail possum and her baby climb out of the tree next to the bath! We wished we could’ve stayed longer!

The bathtub was the ++++ for us. We spent hours in it. Had to cancel planed trips for the tub. To think I celebrated my 50th in the tub. Will definately be back next winter… The wood heater added to the joy, with replenishing supplies just a text away to Alice & Jason. Dinner @ Richmond Arms Hotel was simply beyond expectation.

Incredible place 😍 magical place in the nature with the mountains view and vineyards. You could take a warm bath outside with some sheeps that came to visit the backyard. It’s an amazing place to stay if you visit Hobart because in only 20 min you arrive into paradise ! Thank you Alice for everything

After countless days of trekking and travelling across the state we were so impressed and blessed to find this gem that housed us for Valentines Day. Truly a beautiful and secluded getaway unlike anything we’ve seen before. Thank you so very much for this place/memory which we’ll cherish for life

We couldn’t have asked for a more romantic, secluded, relaxing spot to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary. Thank you! We also loved walking down and saying hello to the beautiful parrots and the sheep! It was a wonderful getaway
