Whether it’s a romantic getaway for two or a celebration with some of your nearest and dearest for a milestone birthday, we have a range of packages carefully curated for you. Our Deluxe Packages are best suited for 3 or more night stays so you can make the most of each experience and not have to rush, while our Standard Packages can easily be enjoyed over a 2 night stay.

Aquila Romance Packages

Looking to make your stay a little extra unforgettable? Our Romance Packages have everything you need to create the ultimate indulgent getaway. Perfect for honeymooners, popping the question or just to get away with your special someone.

Each of these packages comes with sparkling wine and locally made chocolates, as well as access to Flame Space, our outdoor wellness area where you’ll get to enjoy heat exposure in the wood-fired sauna and the refreshing shock of a cold bucket shower.

There is also the ultimate indulgence of an in-room massage for 2. Please note these are performed one after the other.

Our Standard Package includes a Larder and Vin grazing box of ripe-for-the-picking gourmet treats. Perhaps a gooey brie, creamy blue or a sharp cheddar? Some prosciutto, salami, nutty olives and artisanal crackers for the perfect spread.

For those looking to really up the wow factor, our Deluxe Package, takes you to the skies! You and your partner will get a bird’s eye view as you fly over Hobart and into either the Huon Valley or the Tasman Peninsula, where you’ll land at either Home Hill Vineyard or Bangor Winery (weather depending). The wines at both vineyards have won numerous awards, and the food is highly acclaimed too. They are the perfect place to indulge or celebrate a special occasion. Please note lunch is NOT included in this price.

Both packages also include a dining voucher to Czegs Cafe in Richmond Village.

Aquila Babymoon Package

Our Babymoon package comes with all the perks of a luxury getaway, specially designed so that mum can indulge as well. In addition to non-alcoholic sparkling, you’ll also receive a locally sourced grazing box and a $50 voucher to use at Czegs Cafe, Richmond.

The Aquila Detox Package takes the relaxing and unplugged vibe and dials it up to 100.

Enjoy herbal teas, in-room massages and a vegetarian grazing box, as well as our signature Hot and Cold Therapy, think wood-fired sauna and cold water immersion, at the guest communal area, Flame Space.

And to compliment all the goodness happening on the inside, we’ve also included locally made face masks to keep the outside in tip-top shape too.

Aquila Gourmet Experiences

Tasmania is renowned for its exceptional fresh produce, ranging from bountiful seafood to lush orchards and numerous small businesses that combine them in the most delicious ways.

Our Gourmet Experiences are designed to give you a taste of the very best from our local area.

Both experiences offer superb Coal River Valley sparkling wine and chocolates upon arrival, as well as a carefully selected BBQ hamper featuring kebabs, sausages, and salads.

You’ll also be treated to a picnic from Larder and Vin, which we recommend enjoying on the banks of the Coal River at Richmond’s famous historic Richmond Bridge. It’s an easy E-bike ride from Aquila.

Each of the packages offers you the opportunity to experience one of our local restaurants. The Standard Package showcases casual dining at Ashmore on the Bridge Cafe, a charming cafe in the heart of Richmond. Our Deluxe Package invites you to indulge in one of Southern Tasmania’s most elegant fine dining restaurants at Prospect House. A true jewel in a long list of impressive historic properties around Tasmania.

Of course, it’s not all about eating, and we’d be remiss if we didn’t offer you the chance to explore some of the amazing drink options to be found locally. From an afternoon sampling some of Pooley’s award-winning wines, to a custom private tour, curated to your specific tastes, with Drink Tasmania. With either option, you’ll be spoilt for choice!

For the first time, we’re offering Aquila as a group experience. Designed so you and your friends can enjoy this beautiful space exclusively, if you wish.

Included in your stay will be the use of Flame Space, our outdoor wellness space and a private Drink Tasmania Tour, customised to your preferred taste in tipples and guaranteed to show you the best cellars and vineyards in the region.

Stay 4, Pay 3 – midweek special

The ultimate way to enjoy Aquila, book for 4 nights and only pay for 3.

Want to treat yourself mid-week? When booking your stay, you can choose to add our signature Hot-Cold Therapy experience, which includes relaxing in our wood-fired sauna and then immersing yourself in cold water.

If that’s not your style, you can book an in-room massage, hire e-bikes to explore the local area and enjoy a Gourmet BBQ pack and/or grazing box in our communal BBQ and fire pot area.

There’s also wine and a few other fun and yummy things you might want to enjoy while you’re here.

This offer is available for our luxury Eco-pods and the Glamping Tent. It excludes Friday and Saturday nights.

Aquila Adventure Packages

Aquila is all about taking some time to unwind from your busy schedules to reconnect with each other. Stillness and seclusion are often just what the doctor ordered. But sometimes, we still need a bit of action and adventure to keep us going each day.

Our Adventure Packages are the perfect addition to your luxury getaway. Enjoy our signature Hot-Cold Therapy experience in Flame Space. Alternate between sitting in the wood-fired sauna and braving the cold-water shower.

You’ll love the stunning valley scenery at the Coal Valley Golf Links Course, which features 9 holes. Consider using e-bikes to ride there, and afterwards, enjoy a picnic from Larder and Vin Café. They offer picnic baskets that you can borrow for a delightful meal under the Richmond Bridge.

Both our Deluxe and Standard Packages include a visit to the Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary. The night tour allows you to observe our nocturnal native animals as they go about their business. In contrast, the private feeding tour allows you to get up close and personal with some of Australia’s most unique wildlife.

The Deluxe Package offers one of the most unique experiences available in Tasmania. As the only heli tour company in the country with permission to land on the infamous Tasman Island, you’ll explore the breathtaking cliffs of the Tasman Peninsula and then land on the Island for an afternoon of exploring. If you prefer, you can also request that a wine and food hamper be included with the tour.
